Hello, my name is Angelika (Angel) Schoene and I am the owner/proprietor of Angelika's Pet Sitting Service.  I live in Davie, Florida along with a Great Dane named Lady, who is a Hurricane Andrew survivor, and a Greyhound named Brindle who was rescued from much abuse and depression.  Lady, my Great Dane, passed away on April 6, 2004 at age 13+. 

Brindle passed away on December 5, 2005 at age 15+.

I've adopted another Greyhound, Agatha.  She's the one laying down on the right side.

My newest additions - Jacson and Gigolo.  The two boys joined my family in February 2005.

I love all animals and grew up with six German Shepherds in our home.  My animal friends include cats, dogs, birds, gerbils, hamsters, guinea pigs, and even ferrets.

I am fully licensed, bonded and insured, and pride myself in giving companionship and loving individual attention to your pets and home when you are away for business, vacation, extended hours or illness.

I used to be a foster parent for Pets in Distress, but I became too attached to the animals and had difficulty giving them up.

I am a  volunteer at the Humane Society of Broward County where I clean the kennels, feed the animals, and spend time playing with and comforting them.

I also volunteered at the Fort Lauderdale Wildlife Care Center where I cared for stray wild animals like opossums, raccoons, skunks, etc...

When I used to work 4 days a week, I would care for animals in my home that had surgery on a Friday at my veterinarian’s office (Dr. Raul Mendy - Jacaranda Animal Hospital - 954-472-1106) .  I would take care of them over the weekend until the vet's office would reopen on Monday mornings.
